Improving Early Optics Instruction Using a Phenomenological Approach: A Field Study

چکیده
Previous research has shown that phenomenological approaches in early optics education might be superior to traditional model-based instruction based on the light ray realm with regards fostering students’ conceptual understanding of basic topics. However, it remains open date which learning difficulties students encounter when being introduced following a approach—in particular, comparison are widespread among via instruction. With this article, we contribute closing gap: We report results quasi-experimental field study N=189 secondary school students. used ten items adapted from literature pre-posttest design for an in-depth exploration conceptions introductory topics acquired by N=89 teaching-learning sequence and compare these ones N=100 peers who participated covering same content The substantiate earlier findings according teaching fruitful endeavour education, comes about image formation converging lenses.

a frame semantic approach to the study of translating cultural scripts in salingers franny and zooey
the frame semantic theory is a nascent approach in the area of translation studies which goes beyond the linguistic barriers and helps us to incorporate cognitive and cultural factors to the study of translation. based on rojos analytical model (2002b), which centered in the frames or knowledge structures activated in the text, the present research explores the various translation problems that...

The effect of utilizing superhydrophobic walls on improving the convective heat transfer in a rectangular heatsink has been studied numerically in this paper. The vertical walls were kept at isothermal hot-and-cold temperatures and horizontal walls were insulated. The boundary condition on the walls was: no-slip for regular, and slip (with slip length of 500 µm) for superhydrophobic walls. By c...
متن کاملA Phenomenological Study of Customer Disvalue
In this paper we present the structure of “customer disvalue” phenomenon as the complementary concept for customer value. Authors, who are proponents of humanized marketing, rely on the lived-experience of customers as the primary source of data in order to grasp a first-hand understanding of the phenomenon that has been profoundly shadowed by objectivism of economics. The research is based on ...

Studies addressing such concepts as place, sense of place, place attachment, place identity, place dependence, rootedness, genius loci, topophilia, and place-making can be found in count-less disciplinary and applied fields devoted to the design, planning, stewardship, and restoration of places that vary in kind and scale from homes, neighborhoods, and cities to parks, and ecosystems. This arti...
متن کاملUnderstanding Harim in Architecture with a Phenomenological Approach
Architecture reflects the human perception of their existential relations with the world andtherefore it creates meaningful places. Every place with its boundaries concretizes a Harim, whichis the manifestation of such existential relations. This interrelation between the boundary (Marz)and the Harim may cause us to assume them both the same, but these two are different. Althoughevery Harim has...
